Southern Vietnam is forecast to see downpours this week
Trung tâm Dự báo Khí tượng Thủy văn Quốc gia cho biết Nam Bộ được dự báo sẽ có mưa lớn kèm theo dông từ ngày 1 đến 3-9.
Southern Vietnam is expected to experience heavy rains which are accompanied by thunderstorms from September 1 to 3, National Center for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting said.
Vào chiều tối nay, lượng mưa từ 70 đến 150 mm do kết hợp giữa một rãnh và gió mùa Tây Nam sẽ làm giảm nhiệt độ cao ở các địa phương Nam Trung Bộ và Tây Nguyên trong ngày thứ Hai và thứ Ba. Theo dự báo, lượng mưa có khả năng vượt quá 180 mm ở một số khu vực.
In the evening, a rainfall of 70 to 150 millimeters triggered by the combination of a trough and southwest monsoon will dampen the high temperature in southern and south-central localities, and Central Highlands regions on Monday and Tuesday. Dự báo có thể xảy ra mưa và gió giật mạnh trên vùng biển từ Nam Trung Bộ tỉnh Bình Định đến Nam Cà Mau trong thời gian này.
Rains and strong gusts are also expected to occur in the maritime area from south-central Binh Dinh Province to southern Ca Mau Province during this period.
